Panaji, Sept. 2 -- The High Court has granted anticipatory bail to Hemant Tiwari, who was booked by Panaji Police in a case involving allegations of sexual exploitation on the purported promise of marriage, along with charges related to assault and criminal intimidation.

The court directed that if Tiwari is arrested in connection with the case, he should be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing a personal bond of Rs.25,000, along with one or more sureties for the same amount.

The bail order provides Tiwari protection from arrest subject to the conditions imposed by the court.
