Goa, Nov. 3 -- The High Court has directed the Director of Panchayats to conduct a comprehensive inspection of all village panchayats across the state to ascertain the number of employees working in each establishment and ensure compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, commonly known as the POSH Act.

The inspection is aimed at determining the employee strength of individual village panchayats and assessing their obligations under the legislation, which provides safeguards against sexual harassment at workplaces.
