Goa, Oct. 29 -- A detached section of decorative roof trim at Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, which posed a potential danger to passers-by, has now been removed following a report by O Heraldo highlighting the safety concern on October 23, 2026.

The loose portion of the roof trimming had raised fears that it could fall and cause serious injuries to people walking below. Its removal addresses the immediate risk to public safety.
