MAPUSA, June 22 -- Heavy rainfall on Sunday resulted in severe waterlogging across several parts of the Mapusa Market, disrupting normal business activities and causing inconvenience to traders, vendors and shoppers. Stagnant water accumulated in internal lanes, making movement difficult for pedestrians and affecting access to shops. Several commercial establishments were surrounded by water, while some parked two-wheelers were partially submerged in flooded sections.
