Goa, July 17 -- Heavy rainfall triggered fresh flooding in several parts of Curchorem, with blocked drainage channels causing severe waterlogging and disrupting normal life. The incident has once again raised concerns over the absence of a permanent solution to the town's recurring flooding problem.

Areas including Ambedkar Circle, the vicinity of Amit Patkar's residence, Vishant Theatre, and several other localities were inundated after rainwater accumulated on roads, creating difficulties for residents and motorists.
