Goa, July 24 -- The India Me teorological Depart ment (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Goa till July 25, forecasting heavy rainfall at isolated places and gusty winds reaching speeds of 40-50 kmph across North and South Goa. According to the IMD's daily weather bulletin, heavy rain accompanied by strong winds is like ly at a few places in both districts over the next two days.

No weather alerts have been issued from July 26 on wards, indicating a possible easing of conditions. The forecast comes as Goa continues to record a signif icant rainfall deficit despite intermittent spells of heavy rain.
