Goa, April 11 -- Authorities in Goa have issued a heatwave alert as temperatures continue to climb across the state. The State Disaster Management Authority and Revenue Department have advised residents to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses. People are encouraged to stay hydrated, wear light cotton clothing, and limit outdoor exposure, especially during peak afternoon hours between 12 pm and 3 pm.
Officials have also recommended consuming fluids such as ORS, coconut water, and buttermilk to prevent dehydration.
