Goa, April 26 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted that heat wave conditions are likely to persist over northwest and central India for the next three days, with a slight improvement expected thereafter.
According to the latest weather update, heat wave to severe heat wave conditions were observed at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, while several parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh also experienced heat wave conditions.
The IMD has also warned that heat wave conditions are likely in isolated pockets of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, East Uttar Pradesh, and northern Rajasthan. Authorities have advised people to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight between 12 pm and 4 pm, use protect...
