HC Seeks Medical Certificates Of Detained CJP Protesters, Adjourns Matter To October 19
Goa, Oct. 12 -- The police inspectors of Panjim and Pernem have filed affidavits before the High Court in petitions concerning the detention of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protesters.
However, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Goa Medical College (GMC) failed to submit the protesters' medical certificates as directed by the court on Sunday.
The High Court has now directed the CMO to submit the certificates by the next hearing and adjourned the matter to October 19.
The proceedings concern petitions relating to the detention of CJP protesters.
