Goa, Sept. 10 -- At least 10 workers are feared trapped under debris after a massive crane collapsed at a construction site in Gandhinagar's Kudasan area on Wednesday evening.

Officials said around 10-15 workers were trapped following the collapse, while four workers have been rescued so far.

Police and fire brigade teams rushed to the site after receiving the alert, with four fire brigade vehicles deployed for the rescue operation. Officials said the search and rescue effort is being carried out on a war footing.

Several ambulances have also been stationed at the site to provide immediate medical assistance to those rescued.
