Panaji, Oct. 7 -- Goans Hockey has rejected allegations concerning its administration, performance and election process, describing the claims as false and misleading.

In a press note, the association said it had never obstructed the development of hockey in Goa and maintained that it had consistently supported coaching and other initiatives aimed at promoting the sport in the state.

The association also raised questions over an alleged false renewal certificate that it claimed was submitted before the High Court during the 2024 election proceedings.
