Goa, June 25 -- To commemorate Olympic Day and encourage the growth of hockey at the grassroots level, Goans Hockey distributed hockey kits to students of Loyola High School on Thursday.

The kits were handed over by Digambar Kamat in the presence of school authorities, hockey enthusiasts and members of the local sporting community.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamat emphasized the importance of promoting sports among young students and ensuring they have access to the resources needed to develop their talents. He noted that such initiatives are essential for nurturing future hockey players and strengthening the sport's foundation in Goa.
