Goa, Aug. 26 -- At a time when Indian football is facing challenges on the international stage, young Goan Shashwat Kamat is making his mark in one of the world's most advanced football systems after joining Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) as a Performance Analyst.

Kamat has joined the club's Category 1 Academy, the highest academy classification in England, marking a major milestone in a journey that began when he was just 16.

His football journey started with FC Goa, which he describes as the club where his ambition to build a career in football took shape. He later moved to England, gaining experience with Queens Park Rangers (QPR) before securing his role with Wolves.
