Goan Excavator Owners Allege Outsiders Getting Major Infrastructure Projects
Goa, Oct. 7 -- Goa's excavator and construction equipment owners have raised concerns over the alleged use of machinery brought from outside the state for major infrastructure projects.
Avinash Bhobe, President of the Excavator & Construction Equipment Owners Association, has urged the government to intervene and ensure greater support for local machinery operators. The association has alleged that local operators are being sidelined while outside machinery is brought in for large projects.
Bhobe warned that the trend could threaten Goan businesses and the livelihoods dependent on local construction equipment operations.
