Goa, June 6 -- The Goa government is set to introduce a QR code-based monitoring system under its 'Harit Goa, Swachh Goa' initiative to enhance transparency and ensure effective tracking of tree plantation activities across the state.

The proposed system will enable citizens to access information related to plantation sites, sapling distribution, and the officials responsible for implementing the programme. The initiative aims to promote greater public participation while strengthening the monitoring and management of afforestation efforts.
