Goa, May 16 -- The Goa Town and Country Planning Board has approved proposals to classify a total of 4,39,558 square metres of land in Tiswadi as No Development Zone (NDZ) and Non-Developable Area under Section 39A of the Goa Town and Country Planning Act.

The decision was taken during the 232nd meeting of the TCP Board held on May 4, 2026, and the proposal has now been published in the Official Gazette inviting public suggestions and objections. Citizens have been given 30 days from the date of publication to submit their representations to the Chief Town Planner in Panaji.
