Goa, April 13 -- A shocking incident in Sanguem has left the local community in disbelief after a 22-year-old woman was allegedly shot dead on Sunday at Kazur village.

The victim, identified as Tanvi Ghadi from Sanquelim, lost her life in the incident. The accused, Shwet Gawde, also a resident of Sanquelim, has been detained by Quepem Police.

Police have registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act, including sections related to illegal use and possession of firearms.
