Goa, June 26 -- Goa's new Captain of Ports administrative building, constructed at a cost of Rs.48.87 crore, is set to enhance the state's maritime infrastructure with its distinctive ship-shaped design and modern facilities.

The riverfront G+3 building has been designed to serve as a state-of-the-art administrative hub for the Captain of Ports Department. It is equipped with modern navigation facilities to support efficient port and maritime operations.

In addition to office space, the complex features an amphitheatre and a restaurant, making it a multi-purpose facility. The government also expects the building to generate additional revenue by leasing out designated commercial spaces within the premises.
