Goa, Sept. 8 -- Christmas may still be nearly three months away, but Goa's well-known 'Starman' Anthony Rodrigues of Agassaim has already begun preparations for the festive season.

Rodrigues has so far crafted around 800 Christmas stars, with more still being made as he gets ready for another festive season.

This year, his collection carries a special message inspired by the life and teachings of Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta, known for her message of peace, compassion and love for humanity.

Reflecting this year's theme, Rodrigues has chosen blue and white as the dominant colours for his stars, symbolising peace and purity.
