Goa, Aug. 31 -- Mumbai Police register FIR after real estate firm's representative alleges threats and a Rs.6 crore demand to allow work on its Goa project to continue without obstruction

Two Goa residents and their associates have been booked by Mumbai Police in connection with an alleged extortion case involving Rs.41 lakh and a demand for a further Rs.6 crore from a real estate company.

The FIR was registered by the NM Joshi Marg Police on August 27 following a complaint filed by a liaison officer associated with The House of Abhinandan Lodha, police said.
