Goa, June 30 -- Continuous monsoon showers have significantly improved water storage levels across Goa's major reservoirs, with several dams recording a steady rise in capacity following sustained rainfall over the past few days.

According to the latest data, the Selaulim Dam has reached 31.4 per cent of its total storage capacity, holding 7,359 hectare-metres (Ha.m) of water after receiving 580.25 mm of rainfall.

The Tillari Dam is currently at 28.8 per cent capacity with a storage of 13,301.6 Ha.m. The reservoir has received 505.60 mm of rainfall and is releasing 4.32 cumecs of water.
