Zuarinagar, Oct. 9 -- The Goa Rakhon Yatra held at Zuarinagar witnessed a massive turnout of locals, with Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar joining the rally alongside senior Congress leaders.

The strong public response marked a significant moment for the organisers, as residents gathered to participate in the yatra, which highlighted concerns surrounding Goa's identity, heritage and interests.

Cortalim Congress leader Mariano Rodrigues expressed pride over Shivakumar's presence, stating that the Karnataka Chief Minister had travelled to Goa exclusively to attend the Rakhon Yatra at Zuarinagar.

Rodrigues also presented Shivakumar with a traditional garland as a gesture of welcome and appreciation.
