Goa, Aug. 28 -- The Department of Drinking Water (DDW), Government of Goa, has introduced an integrated single-window system to streamline water connection services and address public grievances related to drinking water supply.

The initiative has been implemented in compliance with directions issued by the Goa Human Rights Commission (GHRC) for providing public services through a unified and transparent system.

The services are currently available through the "PWD GOA" mobile application, a citizen-centric, real-time GIS-based platform that brings together services of the Public Works Department and the Department of Drinking Water. Around 5,398 citizens have so far been registered on the application.
