Goa, Aug. 29 -- Goa's Department of Drinking Water has highlighted the 'PWD GOA' mobile application as a single-window platform for accessing water-related services and registering public complaints.

According to a compliance communication submitted to the Goa Human Rights Commission, around 5,398 citizens have already been onboarded onto the GIS-based platform.

Through the app, consumers can apply for new water connections, report water supply issues and network leakages by uploading photographs and location details, and track the status of their complaints. Users can also receive updates and service notifications through the platform.
