Goa, July 31 -- Following widespread protests over the suspension of three field workers in the fatal Xelpem electrocution case, Goa Electricity Department Executive Engineer Uday Kudalkar met Yuva Forward Goa president Meshu D'Costa and protesting linemen at the Sanguem office. Kudalkar assured employees that efforts would be made to revoke the suspensions, noting the workers were assigned elsewhere during the incident. However, protesters questioned both the Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineer over alleged shortcomings in the internal inquiry, insisting on greater transparency and accountability before ending their agitation.
