Goa, Sept. 30 -- Goa Police conducted its first-ever cyber crime awareness programmes outside Goa at the Naval Base in Karwar, Karnataka, reaching around 850 Indian Navy personnel and their family members.

The first programme was organised for approximately 500 Navy officers serving onboard INS Vikramaditya at the Karwar Naval Base, following a request from the ship's Commanding Officer.

A second programme was conducted for around 350 Navy officers and their family members at the request of the Commanding Officer, Headquarters, Karwar Naval Base.
