Goa, Nov. 2 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Goa, has issued a yellow alert for November 2, 3 and 4, warning of thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds across the state.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and winds gusting to 40-50 kmph are likely at isolated places in North Goa, South Goa and Kushavati districts during the three-day period.

The IMD has also forecast light rainfall and thundershowers at isolated places across the three districts on November 5.
