Goa, April 14 -- Goa marked National Fire Service Day on Tuesday with a formal ceremony held in Panaji. The event was organised by the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services at the Fire Force Training Ground in St. Inez.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant attended the programme as the Chief Guest, while Chief Secretary V. Candavelou was present as the Guest of Honour. The occasion paid tribute to the courage and dedication of firefighters and emergency personnel who risk their lives in the line of duty.
