Goa, Oct. 5 -- Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho facilitated an MoU between Goa Miles and NGO Scan Goa to provide free and confidential taxi services to crime victims, particularly women and children from remote villages who need to travel to courts.

The initiative aims to help victims access the judicial system without facing the additional burden of transportation costs or concerns over confidentiality.

Under the arrangement, eligible victims will be provided taxi services for their court-related travel, with the initiative focusing especially on those from rural and remote areas.
