Goa, Nov. 1 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced that the state's Registration Department will facilitate easier issuance of marriage registration certificates for couples choosing Goa as their destination wedding venue. The initiative aims to attract more destination weddings by simplifying the registration process, particularly as marriage certificates are mandatory in several states. The government hopes the move will strengthen Goa's position as a preferred wedding destination while making legal formalities more convenient for couples travelling to the state to celebrate their marriage.
