Goa, June 17 -- Goa may soon be connected directly to Salalah, Oman, with low-cost carrier SalamAir exploring the launch of a new international route as part of its expansion plans in India.

The proposed direct air service is expected to significantly enhance connectivity between Goa and the Gulf region, providing a convenient travel option for tourists, business travellers, and members of the expatriate community.

If introduced, the route is likely to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Goa and Oman while boosting inbound tourism and facilitating smoother business exchanges.
