Goa, April 14 -- A labour society representing workers from various government departments, including the Public Works Department, has called for the regularisation of employees who have been serving on contract for nearly two decades in Goa.

Following a recent meeting, the group urged the government to resolve the long-pending issue within the next five months. Members expressed concern over the prolonged uncertainty faced by workers despite years of service.
