Goa, June 8 -- A Goa-born India international and SAFF Cup winner shared her thoughts with Bambino Dias and Savio de Noronha shortly after the Indian women's football team, popularly known as the Blue Tigresses, scripted history by clinching their sixth SAFF Women's Championship title.

India secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Bangladesh in the final, adding another prestigious trophy to their impressive record in South Asian football.

The triumph also revived memories of the Indian men's team's memorable SAFF Cup victory in 1999 at the Nehru Stadium in Goa. On that occasion, India defeated Bangladesh 2-0, with goals from two of the country's football legends, Bruno Coutinho and Baichung Bhutia.
