Goa, Aug. 11 -- The Goa Human Rights Commission (GHRC) has issued notices to three authorities, including the Department of Drinking Water, Goa State Pollution Control Board and Club Mahindra Resort, following a complaint filed by residents of Assnora in Bardez.

The complaint, dated August 1, 2026, was placed before the Commission, which has directed the respondents to submit their replies to the allegations raised by the residents.

The notices have been issued to the Chief Executive Engineer of the Department of Drinking Water, the Member Secretary of the Goa State Pollution Control Board and the Manager of Club Mahindra Resort, located near the water treatment plant at Assnora.
