Goa, Sept. 23 -- The Goa Human Rights Commission (GHRC) has recommended that Cafe 108, a vegetarian restaurant operating at Borda, Margao, shift the outlet through which cooking fumes and smoke are discharged, after finding that the restaurant's exhaust system was causing high and continuous sound inside the flat of a senior citizen living directly above it.

The recommendation was issued in an inquiry report dated September 23, 2026, in Proceeding No. 72/2026, following a complaint by Rajiv A. Naik Dalal, a senior citizen residing at the P.M. Dias Residency Co-operative Housing Society at Borda, Margao.
