Goa, July 20 -- The Goa Bench of the Bombay High Court has taken suo motu cognisance of the alleged brutal assault on Advocate Ankur Kumar and initiated proceedings in the matter.

The case has been listed for further hearing at 2.30 pm. The High Court has also directed the Investigating Officer to remain present before the court along with the relevant case records.
