Goa, Aug. 5 -- The Goa High Court has issued notices to all respondents, including the Goa government and the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department, in connection with a public interest litigation (PIL) challenging approvals granted for the entertainment hub at Panjim Park, popularly known as Quarter Deck.

The PIL, filed by the NGO Goa Bachao Abhiyan, seeks to quash the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) for the project. It also challenges the subsequent licence granted by the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) for repairs and extensions, along with any related permissions or licences issued by the TCP Department for the property.
