Goa, July 16 -- The Goa High Court has added GS Hospitality Arpora Goa LLP, the parent company of Birch nightclub, and the families of those who lost their lives in the Birch nightclub fire tragedy as respondents in the suo motu public interest litigation (PIL) related to the incident.

The court passed the order to facilitate proceedings concerning the determination of compensation for the victims' families. By impleading both the parent company and the affected families, the High Court aims to ensure that all concerned stakeholders are represented during the hearing of compensation-related issues.
