Goa Has No Water Shortage, Dam Levels Have Improved; Crackdown on Illegal Borewells From August, Says WRD Minister
Goa, July 1 -- WRD Minister Subhash Shirodkar says improved reservoir levels have eased supply concerns and announces a summer water storage plan.
Goa is currently not facing any water shortage as water levels in the State's dams have improved significantly, Water Resources Department (WRD) Minister Subhash Shirodkar said.
Addressing the media, Shirodkar stated that the increase in reservoir levels has ensured an adequate water supply, providing relief from concerns over shortages during the monsoon season.
