Goa, Oct. 10 -- Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has warned of strict legal action against anyone found involved in the alleged Goa Excise recruitment scam, stating that even a Superintendent of Police (SP) will face action if found guilty.

Sawant said the police are conducting a detailed investigation to identify those responsible, establish their links and seize their properties in accordance with the law.

The Chief Minister stressed that no one involved in the alleged scam would be spared, regardless of their position, if evidence establishes their involvement.
