Goa, April 20 -- The Goa Crime Branch has solved the sensational double murder case reported from Saligao, arresting the main accused who had been absconding since the incident.

The accused, Jagannath Bhagat, was taken into custody following an intensive investigation. He had allegedly been on the run after the crime.

The victims were identified as Richard D'Mello from Guirim and Abhishek Gupta from Indore. Both men were found dead in a rented room in Saligao with knife wounds to their throats, in what appeared to be a brutal killing.
