Goa Crime Branch Arrests Absconding Ganja Trafficking Accused
Goa, July 30 -- The Goa Crime Branch, in coordination with the Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau (TGANB), has arrested an absconding accused allegedly involved in an interstate ganja trafficking network.
The investigation began after the Crime Branch seized 812 grams of ganja, valued at around Rs.80,000, during an operation in Goa. Subsequent intelligence gathered during the probe led investigators to a suspect believed to be coordinating the supply of ganja into the state while remaining on the run.
Acting on shared intelligence, TGANB apprehended the accused in Telangana, following which the Goa Crime Branch formally arrested him.
