Margao, Oct. 16 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced that the AYUSH Integrated Hospital at Mont Hill in Margao, South Goa, is expected to become functional within a month.

Sawant made the announcement during a visit to the hospital on Friday, accompanied by Margao MLA Digambar Kamat.

Addressing the media after inspecting the facility, the Chief Minister said the hospital would begin functioning within the next month.

The development is expected to strengthen access to AYUSH healthcare services in South Goa, with the facility intended to provide treatment under traditional systems of medicine.

Further details regarding the hospital's operational arrangements and the commencement of services are awaited.
