India, March 1 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the upcoming Goa Budget will focus on strengthening paddy cultivation and promoting community farming initiatives across the state. He emphasised that special provisions will be made to support farmers and improve agricultural productivity. The Chief Minister urged cultivators to take advantage of government schemes designed to enhance income and sustainability. Highlighting young farmer Varad Samant as an example, Sawant said agriculture can be a viable and profitable profession if supported with the right policies and community participation.
