Goa, Aug. 25 -- Goa Ayurveda Council President Dr Sneha Bhagwat has filed a complaint alleging misleading practices, suspected illegal activities and alleged extortion being carried out in the name of Ayurveda and AYUSH.

The complaint has also raised concerns over claims of providing treatment for piles, fistula and fissure "without operation", with Dr Bhagwat flagging such practices for scrutiny.

The complaint seeks action over the alleged practices and activities being carried out in the name of Ayurveda/AYUSH.
