PANJIM, June 11 -- The death of a 24-year-old medical intern attached to the Goa Med- ical College and Hospital (GMCH) has triggered se- rious questions, with in- vestigators racing to piece together the circumstances that led to her body being found on Hawaii Beach at Dona Paula on Wednesday.

The deceased, a native of Kerala who was under- going her internship at the State's premier medical institution, was discovered lying on the beach by local residents early in the day. Alarmed by the sight, they alerted the Panjim police, who rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
