Goa, Sept. 14 -- Goa Assembly Speaker Dr Ganesh C. Gaonkar joined the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations and participated in the traditional Ganpati Bappa Aarti.

Adding a cultural touch to the celebrations, Gaonkar played the Ghumat, a traditional Goan percussion instrument, highlighting the state's rich musical and cultural heritage.

His participation reflected the spirit of devotion and community associated with Ganesh Chaturthi, while also showcasing Goa's traditional customs and musical traditions.
