India, March 23 -- Several petrol pumps in Ahmedabad and Rajkot were reported non-operational this morning, causing panic among motorists amid global tensions in West Asia. Fears of a fuel shortage spread quickly, with long queues forming at operational stations.
The Federation of Gujarat Petroleum Dealers Association (FGPDA) stepped in to clarify that there is no actual shortage of petrol or diesel. General Secretary Dhimant Ghelani assured citizens that sufficient fuel stock is available across the state and requested people not to panic or hoard fuel unnecessarily.
