From Acid Attack Survivor to LSE Student: Resham Fatma Scripts History
Goa, Aug. 3 -- Resham Fatma has etched her name in history by becoming the first acid attack survivor from India to receive the prestigious Chevening Scholarship, a fully funded programme sponsored by the UK Government. The scholarship will enable the 29-year-old from Jamshedpur to pursue a Master's degree at the London School of Economics (LSE), one of the world's most respected universities.
Sharing the milestone on social media, Resham expressed the emotions behind the achievement, writing, "I kept this dream to myself for a long time. Today, I can finally say it out loud."
