Goa, June 16 -- A recently upgraded ferry ramp at Betim has come under scrutiny after a large hole appeared on the structure, raising concerns about construction quality and commuter safety. The ramp, which forms part of the busy Panaji-Betim ferry route, was renovated as part of a wider infrastructure improvement and beautification project.

The upgraded facility was designed to provide better amenities for passengers, including improved waiting areas, lighting, seating arrangements, toilets and enhanced accessibility. However, locals and daily commuters have now pointed to visible damage on the ramp surface despite the project being completed only recently.
